Privacy Policy

TinFinder at tinfinder.app (the "Site"), operated by TinFinder, helps adults find nearby stores that sell nicotine pouches such as ZYN and compare prices reported by other shoppers. This page explains what information the Site collects and how it is used. The Site is independent and not affiliated with ZYN, Swedish Match or Philip Morris International. See also our Terms of Use.

What we collect

• Searches. The ZIP code, city or map location you search, used to find nearby stores. If you tap "Use my location", your browser shares your approximate coordinates for that search only. We don't keep a history of your searches or your location.
• Price reports and votes. When you report a price or confirm or flag one, we store the store, product, price and time. These are shown publicly without your name.
• A scrambled version of your IP address. We store a one-way hash of your IP address with reports and votes to prevent spam and duplicate voting. It can't be turned back into your IP address.
• Browser storage. Your browser remembers your last search, flavor and strength choices, which prices you've voted on, and that you confirmed you're 21+. This stays on your device.

We don't ask for your name, email address or any account, and we don't sell personal information.

Services we use

• Maps and store data: OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap (or Google Maps Platform, when enabled) provide map tiles and store locations. Your browser loads map images directly from these services.
• Location lookup: Zippopotam.us and OpenStreetMap Nominatim convert ZIP codes and city names into map coordinates.
• Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see how the Site is used (for example, which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are from). It doesn't receive your searches' exact location or your price reports. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Delivery links: "Get it delivered" links open DoorDash, Uber Eats or Gopuff. Those links may include affiliate tracking, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or order. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Advertising and cookies

This site may show ads from Google AdSense and other ad partners.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

For more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Consent for visitors outside the US

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used, through a consent message shown by Google. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link in that message.

Your privacy rights (US states)

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

• We don't sell personal information for money. Ad partners such as Google may use cookies for personalized ads, which some state laws treat as "sharing".
• Opting out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and the Site will request non-personalized ads only. You can also use Google Ads Settings.
• Requests: email us at the address below. Because we don't collect names or accounts, we usually can't link data to you, but we'll help where we can. We won't discriminate against you for using these rights.

How long we keep data

Price reports are kept as part of the Site's price history. Hashed IP addresses attached to reports and votes are used only for spam prevention. Cached store and location lookups expire automatically within days.

Age requirement

TinFinder is intended only for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Prices

Prices are reported by shoppers or estimated, and may be wrong or out of date. Always check the price at the store.
